| This 1-hour workshop covers the strength properties of the metal plates and lumber that make up a metal plate connected wood truss. The course discusses lumber sizes and grades and how truss plates work and are tested. The goal of the course is to give participants an understanding of the two materials that make up metal plated connected wood trusses. This course is approved by the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board.
