| Performance and Application of Fire Rated Wood Truss Assemblies |
This 1-hour workshop explains the fire-rated construction assemblies specified by the building code in some structures, especially as they pertain to metal plate connected wood truss assemblies. Course content includes a discussion of:- Full-scale testing
- Component additive methods for calculating fire-resistance ratings
- Harmathy's ten rules of fire endurance
- Fire-rating requirements in the International Building Code 2000
This course is approved by the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board.
